PRI Contour Cotton Dressage Pad

First, huge shout out to the Warmblood Tack Store for sourcing and supplying our big kids! This is not my first purchase here and it's so nice to go to a site where I know everything is going to fit instead of vainly clicking on multiple items on other sites to see the sizes and starting over. I'm in a very hot and humid climate and I wanted a fitted dressage saddle pad. That doesn't sound so unreasonable considering how widely used they are in the hunter jumper world, right? I found less than a handful in all of North America and Europe! And on top of that, I have three needs: long enough drop for extra long flaps (check), contoured for high withers (check) and not too thick as I have a custom saddle (check). Wow! When I received the box, I was surprised how heavy it was and initially feared the pad was too thick / stiff but I went ahead and rode in it. Not at all! This is indeed a sturdy pad and the cushioning is by no means squishy but is firm and my rides are identical to those with baby pads. The only difference is when I unsaddle, the sweat is confined to the saddle area, not the rectangle of the large pads. That may not seem significant to some people but all the moisture wicking climacool whatever tops can't beat bare arms for comfort IMO so I want to offer my horse the same. Lastly, the top side of the pad is the traditional cotton quilting, the bottom side is also quilted but it's softer and dries quickly post-ride even in high humidity. Thank you, Warmblood Tack Store!
