Backorders

A backorder is an item that is not currently available to ship.  Although we make every attempt to keep popular items in stock, sometimes backorders happen.  Backorders happen for a variety of reasons including:

  • Temporarily sold out
  • Shipping issues due to employment strikes, inclement weather or international concerns with product getting to our store from the manufacturer
  • Manufacturer is slow to fulfill our vendor orders
  • Our website is not updated to reflect ALL backorders since sometimes the items are already ordered from the manufacturer and we're waiting for them to arrive

Sometimes, we may have a certain quantity of items in stock and a customer orders all of them (plus one or two more) which creates the item being "sold out".  At this time, we do not know if the item is now backordered at the manufacturer level.

When orders come in, we will review orders within 24 hours and notify the customer should something be backordered on their order.
