This eggbutt snaffle has a curved mouth and is part of the new generation of horse bits. Designed for horse comfort, the eggbutt protects the lips from possible pinching. The curved mouth is shaped over the horse's tongue and the cuprium alloy wafer is a flavor that horses love. When sizing this bit, allow extra length for the curve. Most horses require an additional 1/4". This bit is made of the world's finest 18-8 (chromium/nickel) stainless steel. This alloy is best for bits because it extremely strong and resists salt and acids in saliva, and will never rust or spot.
