Plain leather reins with stud hooks

Plus+TM reins are made of the finest continental leathers and stainless steel hardware ... exceptional quality at a frugal price!

  • Full grain cowhide for durability. The epidermis (top grain of leather) is the strongest, most abrasion resistant part of leather.
  • Plus+ leather is aniline finished - never pigment (painted) finished. (Paint can cover problems in leather and seals the surface, stopping proper penetration when you oil your tack.) We use only first quality hides, tanned and curried to look good, accept oil and darken and mellow as you use it.
  • Stainless steel hardware strong and rustproof.
  • Reins are 5/8" wide
  • Plus+ reins are beautifully finished - carefully hand stitched, creased, edged and hand rubbed as English bridlemakers have done for centuries.

Sizes:  Warmblood (60"), Draft (66")

Limited quantities and sizes available.

    Long reins at last

These are substantial reins and seem to be good quality. I use them as curb reins. Most importantly, they are long enough to let my big guy stretch his neck!

    Just what I needed

My horse is not particularly large, just 15.2, but my trainer wants us to work with his head way down to build up his back, and it was hard to find a long enough set of plain reins on the usual horse supply websites. These are just what I wanted, very nice quality & they match my bridle. As one would expect, they need a little oil/breaking in, but are still nice & supple right out of the box.

I sent them back for a refund. They were nice, but I couldnt deal with smooth reins.

    Decent price
