Protects the fetlock and pasterns from sores.  Fetlock Shields are soft, flexible, comfortable and sturdy bed sore boots for horses.  They are made of tough Cordura and lined with smooth Rayon that covers a layer of soft padding.  They can be worn 24 hours a day if needed.  They are a big improvement over the "upside down" bell boot that your horse will appreciate.  Some products can burn skin when wrapped, please consult your vet when using medications under these shields.

The top part of boot (widest part) measures appx 15 1/2" in diameter (this could be expanded slightly with the adjustable hook & loop closure), the smaller end (nearest the hoof) measures appx 11", and the height is 6 1/2".

One size fits most.  Black only.

These shields are really perfect for my big guy. He gets bed sores on the front of his fetlocks from lying down and getting up on hard ground in the pasture in the summer months. These shields are pretty durable and can be left on 24/7 in the pasture or in a stall. I tried rubber bell boots turned upside down but they gave him rubber burn :O Tried these and they worked great. Only complaint is that the velcro does tend to rip off after a few months of use.

Waaay too small

Product looks to be great quality, but way too small. AND beware, they make the return on items cost more than its worth to return and get reimbursed for.

We are sorry that the product did not fit your horse and understand your frustration. If you want to return the item, you may do so with whatever method you wish (we have no requirements how items are returned), but we do suggest that tracking is obtained for your protection. For a full refund, we do require the item to not be used and have all tags attached. If you have questions, please contact us via email.
